Friends!

Bethany has a friend who lives next door or in the next neighborhood, depending on how you look at it. Its sort of hard to describe but our "laundry room" is actually outside in an courtyard (for lack of a better term) that has no access except through our computer lab. Bethany's friend lives in the building behind us. They are playing Uno in the girl's room and hanging out the window for the picture. Its at least convenient for yelling back and forth.

Always looking at the technical stuff... I can't help it. I see a satellite dish and what looks like a VHF TV antenna. Do you have both in your house? And if so, what do local TV stations show? It is amazing and wondnerful to see how quickly you guys are turning this into your new home. One more question... are the notes on this blog considered secure?

Hmmm, well the wall you see on the right of the picture is actually the next door neighbor's house. So maybe its his antenna. Or it could belong to the house behind. It wouldn't at all be surprising to have your antenna on someone else's roof, I think. The sat dish looks like it's coming to us. We have cable, though. We get Italian, Dutch, German, Australian, Chinese, Saudi, local language, and lots of English including Disney, Nick, HBO, BBC, Bloomberg, all the Discovery channels, ESPN, Al-Jezeera, and TBN. One technical thing that is funny...at the radio stations around town all the satellite dishes point STRAIGHT UP since we are near the equator.

All comments have to be cleared by us and then accepted or rejected (we can't edit). Once they are posted they are available to the world so in NO WAY is this thing secure. That is why we turned on the moderation, since its our blog it gives us at least some degree of control over what people put on our site.
