Hanging of the Green

We bought a Christmas tree from Ace Hardware and got some lights and tinsel and with the ornaments we brought we are ready to go. We even watched The Santa Clause today to celebrate finishing it up!

Final tally:

Tree $25
Lights $12 (yes for 200!)
Tinsel $5
Grandma's Angel on top ... well you know!

Greetings family...The Claywell's beat you ...they never took their tree down...Ha Ha!!! They hid it in the corner of a room. The Belcher's will also wait till Dec.
Todd won't want to get all the boxes out of the storage building.
Last night was wonderful...I know you would have loved to sing with us, I sang really loud for both of us, Angie. I love your tree...the kiddo's could make ornaments so you won't have to buy a bunch.LLL Re

Glasgow has no Ace but we have no Lowe's. A push I think. We have Longhorn Steakhouse. Glasgow doesn't. Glasgow has Zaxby's, we don't. We have a Thai restaurant. Glasgow doesn't. We have THOUSANDS of places to buy fried rice. Clearly the winner is ... where your heart is.

Just curious, were your Thursday friends from school, or how did you connect? What did you serve your neighbor guests on Tues.?
