We went and got some pizza tonight and the kids surprised us by getting us set up for some outdoor dining. "How?" you ask.
By taking our dining room table outside. This had two big benefits: it was way cooler outside on the shady patio AND the dining room feels much bigger now. 
Also, we have these cool flowers in the yard so its a bit like eating in the Rainforest Cafe.
