The family on Sunday in our 2009 shirts. Dress code was green 2010 shirts for Saturday and last years orange for Sunday. Glad we didn't throw out the old ones like we wanted...
The apple eating contest. Angie was going for last ... and made it. We noticed most of the games they like to play were banned while we were kids in the USA. Musical chairs where one adults snatches a seat out from under someone and they fall and everyone laughs. Who can eat an apple the fastest (without choking). Who can hold their breath the longest (without drowning), etc.Lifeguard duty. Do you choose to sit in the blazing sun or under the umbrella that is holding in all the heat?? Decisions, decisions.
Looking awesome for the pre-trip group photo.
Can you find the white folks?!?

Yesssssssss!!!
The emotional attachment to the 2009's is understandable. No one blames you for not throwing them out. Also, very handy for any roadside clean-up you may want to do... utamakan keselamatan!
Apple eating contest? You folks didn't do pies or hotdogs? Did Angie sign-up or was it a forced entry? Looks like the apple was warm too by her expression. Yick. Warm apples.
You forgot option 3... jump in the pool with the oh-so flattering (but deniably modest) ankle-length swim spandex (like our friend in the apple photo is sporting)...
The pre-trip group photo...pensive. Also...did they spell her name with 2 G's??? I miss the hedges there.
Maat Salleh tak pakai tudung? I spotted Bethany and Hudson, but the rest of you were harder to find than you think...again, the power of the florescent shirt.
Why so many of Angie and none of Craig in the green? Rugi besar lah.
Thank you!
Hot dogs would be better for speed eating. The choking hazard goes up exponentially. Which goes again what you said. Maybe it should be Keselamatan Terakhir -- safety last.
Angie was cajoled by me to enter the apple eating contest. I said, "You don't have to win, just participate." Which is why she was "competing" like when my dear-sainted-mother used to say, "As soon as I eat this apple..."
I think the pretrip photo mood was more: We're standing in the blazing 9:30am sun! They were like Jack Bauer, "Take the SHOT!" Notice the one guy stayed in the shade the whole time.
You can only miss equatorial greenery if you are not the person charged with cutting them. I also like them very much ;-)
The lack of head coverings was the reason I thought we were easy to spot but there were a few other rebels in the group. From the city, probably...
Anggie is the misspelling on her shirt, good spot! We didn't feel so bad as it seemed a number of people had that problem. Heck even I know Saiful doesn't have an H in it!
I'm hard to find in the group photo (and all the others) since I was invited as the "official photographer" and thus was constantly busy taking fotos. My camera is a constant companion which leads on guy to ask, "Hey, wheres your camera?" if I don't have it. Sometimes I then run home and get it.
Kalau perkara tu rugi menang terpulang kepada jika you pakai baju yang hijau sangat!
