The sign on this propped-open door (and the one behind it that you can barely see) says something like, "Fire Door Needs to Always be Closed".But they are obviously only half-hearted in their sentiment.
Otherwise they would do like this fire door at a mall near our house. This fire door has a PADLOCK. If you want it to always remain closed, make it to always remain closed. That is my policy.

Is a fire door to keep out fire or keep people in? I'm dazed and confused!
Sorry for the late comment, I'm catching up on your blog. So you can't cross the line except in an emergency... and the door is padlocked... so in an emergency, you must find the man with the key first... I love Asia!
